PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - The Irish doubles team of Kelcy Tefft and Kali Krisik advanced Friday in the consolation bracket of the main doubles draw at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championship.

Tefft and Krisik, ranked 25th in the nation, knocked off TCU's ninth-ranked Macall Harkins and Anna Sydorska, 8-5, in the first round of consolation matches on Friday.

The Irish moved to the consolation bracket after falling to Florida's sixth-ranked Megan Alexander and Marrit Boonstra Thursday in the first round of the main doubles draw.

Tefft and Krisik will take on No. 7 Lauren Lui and Georgia Rose, of Northwestern, Saturday.
