Irish Doubles Win Consolation Finals

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - The Irish doubles team of Kelcy Tefft and Kali Krisik defeated two top-20 teams to win the consolation bracket at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championship Saturday.

Tefft and Krisik defeated Northwestern's seventh-ranked Lauren Lui and Georgia Rose, 8-3, in the second round, before knocking off Baylor's No. 18 Lenka Broosova and Csilla Borsanyi, 8-2, in the finals.

The Irish defeated TCU's ninth-ranked Macall Harkins and Anna Sydorska, 8-5, in the first round of consolation matches Friday.

Notre Dame will compete in the Midwest Regionals in Lansing, Mich. Oct. 23-28.
