    COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Notre Dame women's tennis team won three flights as the Buckeye Invitational concluded play on Sunday.

    Junior Kelly Zalinski beat Kansas' Cheryl Mallaiah 6-4, 6-4 to win Flight No. 2 singles without dropping a set in four matches. Freshman Lindsey Green rallied after losing the first set to win Flight No. 3 with a 6-7 (7-5), 7-3, 7-5 win over Iowa's Emily Bampton. At No. 4 singles, freshman Nina Vaughan cruised by Georgia Tech's Mason Miller 6-3, 6-0 as she won straight-set matches on her way to the win. Irish freshman Becky Varnum lost 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) to 87th-ranked Kris Sell of Kansas in the final of Flight No. 1.
