    ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Notre Dame junior womens tennis player Sarah Scaringe and sophomore Kim Guy won semifinal matches to set up an all-Irish final in Flight No. 2 at the Wolverine Invitational. Scaringe beat Texas A&Ms Kelli DelaTorre 6-2, 6-4, while Guy beat Texas A&Ms Leah Scott 6-3, 6-4.

    In the semifinals of Flight No. 1, junior Kelly Zalinski fell to Michigans 49th-ranked Brooke Hart 6-1, 7-5. In the consolation of Flight No. 1, freshmen Becky Varnum beat Texas A&Ms San Miguel 6-2, 6-0, and Nina Vaughan won a tight 2-6, 7-6, 7-6 match over North Carolinas Courtney Zalinski, the younger sister of Kelly Zalinski. Freshman Lindsey Green lost 6-2, 6-3 to Texas A&Ms Leah Killen.

    In the only doubles flight, Green and Guy beat Barnett and Schaffer from North Carolina 6-0, 6-4. North Carolinas Hill and Zaganczyk beat Varnum and Zalinski 6-4, 6-4, and the Tar Heels Hackler and Zalinski beat Scaringe and Vaughan 4-6, 6-4, 7-5.
