EVANSTON, Ill. - Sophomore Kristy Frilling advanced Monday to the final match of the Midwest Regional Singles Championship.

The 20th-ranked Frilling defeated Ohio State's Kirsten Flower, 6-3, 6-0, in the quarterfinals, before topping DePaul's No. 66 Anna Redesci, 7-5, 6-3, in the semifinal match.

Frilling will take on Northwestern's top-ranked Maria Mosolova Tuesday at 10 a.m. (CT).

In doubles action, the 15th-ranked Irish duo of Frilling and senior Kali Krisik fell to DePaul's No. 31 team of Redesci and Selma Salkovic, 8-6, in the tournament's final match. Frilling and Krisik are now 7-2 in tournament action.
