Tefft Falls in ITA Midwest Regional Singles Final
Final match taken to three sets

Senior Kelcy Tefft was the doubles champion and singles runner-up at the ITA Midwest Regional.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Senior Kelcy Tefft battled through three sets, but came up short in the final match at the ITA Midwest Regional.

No. 43 Tefft took the first set, 7-5, against Northwestern's No. 30 Samantha Murray, but couldn't hang on, dropping the last two, 4-6, 1-6.

Tefft is now 8-3 in singles play for the season.

Tefft and freshman Kristy Frilling won the Midwest Regional Doubles title Monday.
