CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - After knocking off the nation's top-ranked doubles team on Thursday, senior Kelcy Tefft and freshman Kristy Frilling came back to defeat another top-15 team Friday at the ITA National Indoor Championships.

Tefft and Frilling trounced Arizona State's 13th-ranked Laila Abdala and Nadia Abdala, 8-0, to advance to the semifinals of the collegiate grand slam event.

The Irish duo defeated No. 1 Melanie Gloria and Tinesta Rowe of Fresno State, 8-3, in the first round Thursday.

Tefft and Frilling will take on TCU's ninth-ranked duo of Macall Harkins and Anna Sydorska in the semifinals Saturday.
