NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Notre Dame women's tennis team concluded the fall portion of their schedule Sunday at the ITA National Indoor Championships and the Midwest Blast.

Senior Kelcy Tefft and freshman Kristy Frilling ended their run at the ITA National Indoor Championships in Charlottesville, Va. The Irish duo lost in the finals to Fresno State's eighth-ranked Renata Kucerkova and Anastasia Petukhova 6-4, 2-6, 6-7 (5).

At the Midwest Blast, other members of the Irish squad took on the Denver Pioneers in singles action.

Junior Kali Krisik defeated Mallory Voekler, 6-0, 6-1. Sophomore Kristen Rafael knocked off Annette Aksdal, 6-3, 7-5, while freshman Shannon Mathews dropped Ute Schnoy, 6-1, 6-0. Junior Cosmina Ciobanu defeated Julia Bauregger, 6-2, 6-3, and junior Colleen Rielley knocked off Kyla Iwinski, 6-2, 6-2. Senior Katie Potts lost to Bhavani Tirumurti, 7-5, 6-7 (4), 6-1.

Krisik and Rafael were named to the all-tournament team after finishing 3-0 in singles play over the weekend.
