    Irish Lose to Kansas, 6-3

    Velasco and Dasso Win Singles Matches

    NOTRE DAME, Ind. --- Kansas University, ranked No. 27 in the country by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, won four of six singles matches on Sunday en route to a 6-3 win over No. 15 Notre Dame. The Irish drop to 8-3 on the season with the loss.

    Notre Dame picked up singles wins from freshman Michelle Dasso at No. 2 and junior Marisa Velasco at No. 3. The No. 3 Notre Dame doubles team of Kelley Olson and Kelly Zalinski were also winners on the day.
