Notre Dame Women's Tennis Beats UNLV 7-2

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Notre Dame's 18th-ranked women's tennis team won four of six singles matches and then swept doubles for a 7-2 win over host UNLV. The Irish used singles wins at the top four singles matches from Jennifer Hall, Michelle Dasso, Marissa Velasco and Tiffany Gates before the doubles clinched the win. Notre Dame's 27th-ranked doubles team of Gates and Hall upset 13th-ranked Susie Kocsis and Gee Gee Garvin 8-3. The 11-3 Irish will face top-ranked Florida on Wednesday in Las Vegas.
