No. 15 Notre Dame Defeats No. 25 Wisconsin 5-4
NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The 15th-ranked Notre Dame women's tennis team won four of six singles matches en route to a 5-4 victory over 25th-ranked Wisconsin on Tuesday at the Eck Pavilion.
Sophomore Kelly Zalinski and senior Kelley Olson won straight-set singles matches for the Irish and combined to win a match at number three doubles. Other Notre Dame winners in singles play included freshman Michelle Dasso at number two singles and junior Marisa Velasco at number three singles.
The Irish, which improved to 9-3 on the season, host 22nd-ranked Northwestern Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the Eck Pavilion
