NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The University of Notre Dame women's tennis team opens a three-match road trip Tuesday at 1 p.m. against No. 9 Georgia at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.

Gleason responded from a 6-0 deficit in the first set against No. 62 Mary Clayton (Duke) to win 0-6, 7-6 (8-6), 7-6 (8-6) in her most recent match at the No. 3 singles court. Senior captain Chrissie McGaffigan has posted an identical 10-2 record this season, including a 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (1-7), 8-6, retired win over No. 66 Monica Turewicz (Duke) March 3.

Britney Sanders and Julie Sabacinski, the No. 38 ranked doubles team in the country, have excelled at the No. 2 doubles court in Notre Dame's past three team matches, logging an undefeated record against opponents from Western Michigan, DePaul and Duke. McGaffigan and junior captain Jennifer Kellner have enjoyed similar success at first doubles, leading the Irish with an 8-3 dual mark.

Georgia (9-1) has won its last four matches entering Tuesday's contest, including a weekend sweep of Ole Miss (6-1) Saturday and Mississippi State (7-0) Sunday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs are a perfect 5-0 all-time against Notre Dame, including a 4-0 record in home matches.
