Spots still remain for the Notre Dame summer tennis camps, which kick off with the first of four week-long sessions on Sunday. The camps - directed by head men's tennis coach Bob Bayliss and head women's tennis coach Jay Louderback - provide opportunities for boys and girls ages 9-18 to receive instruction from an accomplished staff of coaches and players. The sessions run from June 19-23, June 26-30, July 3-7, and July 10-14, with the last one - National Junior Camp - geared toward nationally- and sectionally-ranked players.

The cost of the camps is $600 per week, which includes at least 30 hours of instruction, all meals, housing, and tennis activities. Campers not needing housing will receive a $100 discount on the price. The outdoor Courtney Tennis Center and indoor Eck Tennis Pavilion - which have played host to NCAA tournament action on 12 occasions - are the site of the camps, which feature match play in a fun, spirited, team competition, as well as personal evaluation for future improvement, and a package of adidas gear. Campers, who stay in Notre Dame dormitories for the week, also will have access to special off-court activities, like swimming, field games, and tennis movies.
