    AS A JUNIOR: Appeared in 16 matches and 31 games during the 2002 season ... notched double-digit kills vs. Colorado (10) and Connecticut (11) ... played a key role in Notre Dame?s victory over UConn, coming up with five blocks, 11 kills and an ace in three games ... utilized off the bench during the ?02 season ... scored five kills against Loyola College and Providence ? earned 4.00 grade-point average both semesters.

    AS A SOPHOMORE: 2001 All-BIG EAST second team selection ... one of Notre Dame?s starting middle blockers (25 of 29 starts), appearing in 99 of the team?s 103 games ... accumulated nine double-digit kill matches during the season ... had a spectacular first weekend of competition, earning the Shamrock Invitational Most Valuable Player award after leading the team to three victories in the tournament ... had 13 kills on 19 attempts (no errors) for a .684 hitting percentage against SW Texas State in the season opener ... came back for eight kills, seven digs and four blocks the next day against Florida Atlantic ... stepped up in the Shamrock Invitational championship match, recording the first double-double of her career with 14 kills (on .448 hitting) and 10 digs vs. Cal Poly ... struggled on offense against Georgetown in the regular-season matchup against the Hoyas, but broke out for nine blocks ... posted 14 kills, four digs and seven blocks at Toledo ... one of the top performers in Notre Dame?s four-game victory at Connecticut, scoring 14 kills and seven blocks ... hit 14 kills for the third time in five matches against Rutgers ... just missed a second double-double with 11 kills and nine digs at Kentucky ... second career double-double came in the BIG EAST Championship match against Georgetown with 10 kills and 10 blocks (also four digs) ... ended the season as Notre Dame?s top performer in the NCAA Tournament matchup against #20 Michigan State in Madison, Wis., with 16 kills (on .355 hitting).

    AS A FRESHMAN: 2000 BIG EAST All-Rookie team selection ... provided a spark with some powerful and accurate hitting ... recorded her first career kill and block in the Fairfield match ... had three kills and a block in the upset of #15 BYU ... had two kills, four blocks and three kills vs. Clemson ... notched three kills, four digs and two blocks against #3 UCLA ... totaled five kills and four blocks against #16 Michigan State ... posted seven kills against Stanford ... had six kills and two blocks vs. Wyoming ... had five blocks at West Virginia ... played a major role in the Irish victory at Pittsburgh with eight kills (8-1-11) for a .636 hitting percentage ... scored a kill in 16 of 17 matches during her rookie season ... helped the Irish post two impressive conference victories over the weekend of Oct. 28-29 ... had six kills, three digs and three blocks at St. John?s ... notched four kills and six blocks at Connecticut ... had five kills vs. Boston College and Saint Louis and four against Providence ... one of the Irish stars of the five-game match at #3 USC ... came off the bench to score a season-high 10 kills vs. the Trojans on .321 hitting ... also had three blocks, three digs and two aces, including a solo block to earn a game-three victory for the Irish against the Trojans.

    PREP AND PERSONAL: A two-sport star at Nerinx Hall High School in Websters Grove, Mo. ... played four years of volleyball and three years of track and field ... named as the volleyball team MVP her junior and senior seasons ... earned all-conference and all-metro honors her final three years with the volleyball team ... started all four years at middle blocker for the Nerinx volleyball team ... led the team in kills (764) and blocks (117) in 81 games played her senior season, the third straight season she led the team in both categories ... led Nerinx to the conference and district titles in 1999, the first season the school competed at the 4A district level ... team finished fifth in the state that same year ... earned all-tournament recognition in 1999 at the Crossroads Classic in Effingham, Ill., leading Nerinx to first place in the silver division ... named to the "Fab 50" by Volleyball and the "Super 75" by All-Stater ... competed in club-level volleyball since 1994, when she was named an AAU All-American (12-under) while a member of the St. Charles Volleyball Club ... St. Charles finished third at the United States Junior Nationals that season ... participated for St. Charles in the Davis Volleyball Festival in 1996, helping them finish 19th out of 211 teams ... competed for Team St. Louis from 1997-99 ... earned USJN all-tournament honors in the 16 open division in 1998, her team taking first in the silver division ... repeated her all-tournament status in 1999, leading her team to first place once again ... was also a standout in the discus, triple jump, high jump, shot put and 4x400 relay for the track team ... set the school record for the high jump in 1999 ... earned all-conference honors in track and field while helping Nerinx win the conference title ... her mother, Karen, played basketball for the University of Missouri-St. Louis ... has a brother Tim and two sisters, Val and Laura ... daughter of Karen and Chuck Fletcher ... born June 1, 1982, in St. Louis, Mo. ... enrolled in the College of Arts and Letters as an anthropology and computer applications double major.
