    GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Notre Dame women's volleyball team lost its second match of a three-game road trip 15-2, 15-9, 15-5 to #8 Florida before more than 1,800 people.

    The Irish (7-10, 3-1 in the BIG EAST) were unable to match the hig-powered Florida offense. Christi Girton (Muncie, Ind.) led the Notre Dame attack with nine kills, while Jenni Kenne led the Gators with 16 kills. Girton also led the team in digs with eight.

    After playing six straight road matches, the Irish return home for two BIG EAST matches this weekend against Providence (Friday at 8pm) and versus Boston College (Sunday at 2pm).
