Notre Dame Notes
By Robby Hamman
NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Irish and Buckeyes were forced to call an audible on Wednesday, as plans to travel to the Coastal Carolina Classic in Conway, South Carolina, were thwarted by the threat of Hurricane Irma. With both teams having an open weekend, Notre Dame and Ohio State agreed to a home-and-home weekend of matches.
The Irish will travel to Columbus, Ohio, for a 7 p.m. ET match on Friday, September 8 and then the two teams will face each other for the second time of the weekend at Notre Dame at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 10 in Purcell Pavilion.
Notre Dame volleyball fans will have their first opportunity of the season to pick up the team's free schedule posters and coasters during Sunday's home match against the Buckeyes.
