      General

      • Who is eligible for the lottery?
        • Members of the Notre Dame family including contributing Alumni, current undergraduate Parents, dues-paying Monogram winners, and donors. Contributions must have been received by December 31, 2014 to be eligible for the 2015 Alumni Lottery.  Additional eligibility information can be found by clicking here
      • How do I apply online?
        • Applications must be completed online at www.und.com/buytickets. With online applications, you will complete your lottery application online, submit payment online via credit card and receive a confirmation email.
      • What is the application deadline?
        • All applications must be completed by Friday, May 15, 2015. Applications must be completed online at und.com/buytickets.
      • What does it mean when a game is in lottery status?
        • If the number of requests received for any game exceeds the available supply of tickets, a weighted lottery is conducted. The lottery is weighted based on the type of application you complete.
      • Will I receive a paper application this year?
        • Beginning this year, the lottery process will only be available via your online application. No paper applications will be mailed.
      • Are there any fees associated with applying for tickets in the lottery?
        • No. There will be no fees above and beyond the face value of the tickets.
      • Can I apply for additional games online once my online application has been submitted?
        • No. Once completed and submitted online, you will not be able to access your application again.
      • How and when will I find out what games I am successful for?
        • Lottery results will be available online at und.com/tickets. Please click on the banner labeled "Lottery Results." You will need to enter your account number and name to access results. These results should be available no later than July 6th.
      • What if I need extra tickets to a game?
        • All remaining inventory, including single non-contiguous seats, will be placed on sale sometime in mid-July. You will have access to purchase these tickets during an exclusive pre-sale using your online account. Shortly after this pre-sale all remaining inventory will be open to the public for purchase.
      • Can I fill out my application using a mobile device or tablet?
        • Lottery applications and/or season ticket renewals can be completed using a tablet such as an iPad. However, applications cannot be completed using a mobile device.

      Payment

      • When will my credit card be charged?
        • Credit cards will be charged in the days following the results in early July. Please make sure you have appropriate funds and credit limits in place, as well as an expiration date of at least July, 2015 to ensure the authorization of your card.
      • What if my credit card is canceled or expires?
        • Credit cards can be updated by calling the the ticket office during normal business hours.
      • What if my credit card has an expiration date before July?
        • Please call the ticket office once you receive the new card.
      • Are any other forms of payment accepted?
        • Only credit cards will be accepted for the lottery.

      Filling Out Your Application

        • Am I able to adjust my ticket requests after my online application has been submitted?
          • You will not be able to adjust your application online. You will need to contact the ticket office by phone to adjust your application. Applications may not be adjusted after the May 15th deadline.
        • When is a lottery necessary for each game?
          • If the number of requests received for any game exceeds the available supply of tickets, a weighted lottery will be conducted. This lottery is weighted based on your relationship with the university.
        • If a game has multiple price points, will I only be eligible for tickets at the price point I apply for?
          • No. You are offered tickets at the highest price point based on your application type. You can apply for tickets at this price point or any other lower price points offered on your application. Should you apply for tickets at one price level but are unsuccessful, you will automatically be entered in the lottery for the next lowest price point.
        • Is group seating still available?
          • We recognize that a small percentage of applicants still utilize the group seating process. Unfortunately we are unable to offer this option at this time. We will be working to include a group seating function in the online application process for the 2016 season. 
        • How do I request medically necessary seating?
          • If you would like to request medically necessary seating please click on the link at the top of your online application. An auto-generated email will appear. Please fill out the email with the type of seating you would like to request as well as the games you would like to request this seating for. Requesting this seating does not increase or decrease your chances in the lottery. Only medically necessary requests will be considered. You may also email tickets@nd.edu to request this seating.
        • What is the Alumni Family game?
          • For the designated Alumni Family games, contributing alumni have the option to apply for up to four (4) tickets as indicated on your lottery application.
          • This year's Alumni Family games are September 26th against Massachusetts, October 10th against Navy and November 14th against Wake Forest.
          • If demand exceeds the supply of tickets, a computerized lottery will determine who will receive tickets.
        • What is the Senior Alumni game?
          • Notre Dame contributing Alumni who graduated 35 or more years ago receive priority status on their Senior Alumni ticket application for the designated Senior Alumni game.
          • In the event that demand from the Senior Alumni exceeds supply, as it has previously, tickets will be allotted in descending order to the most Senior Alumni, beginning with the earliest graduation years.
          • This year's Senior Alumni game is September 19th against Georgia Tech.
        • What are the Parent games?
          • Parents of returning full time Notre Dame undergraduate students may apply for up to four tickets to the home games indicated on the application.
          • This year's Parent games are September 26th versus Massachusetts and November 14th versus Wake Forest.
          • If you choose to apply for both on-campus home games offered on your parent application, you will be subject to the general lottery (based on demand) and are only guaranteed tickets to one of those games. You may receive tickets to both games if successful in the lottery.
          • The parent games for incoming (first-year and transfer) students are to be determined.
          • Shamrock Series game tickets applied for on parent applications are subject to the general lottery and are not guaranteed.
        • Do I need to apply for tickets for my infant?
          • Yes. All persons, regardless of age, require a ticket.
        • What are single game home ticket prices this year?
          • Texas- $125
          • Georgia Tech - $85
          • Massachusetts - $75
          • Navy - $85
          • USC - $125
          • Wake Forest - $75
        • What are away game ticket prices this year?
          • at Virginia - $65
          • at Clemson - $85
          • at Temple (Lincoln Financial Services Field) - $60
          • at Pittsburgh - $85
          • at Stanford - $80

      Ticket Delivery

      • When will tickets be sent to me?
        • All home game tickets will be shipped via FedEx in early August. Shamrock Series tickets will be sent via FedEx in mid to late September. Home game tickets are sent via express mail and require a physical address. Tickets cannot be sent to a PO Box.
        • Away game tickets are mailed via First Class Mail to the same address as the home game tickets. Each away game won in the lottery will be mailed separately no later than three weeks prior to each away game.
      • What if I do not receive my tickets once they are shipped or mailed?
        • If you have not received your home game or Shamrock Series tickets via express delivery within two weeks of the first home game please contact the ticket office. For away games, please contact the ticket office if game tickets have not arrived by First Class Mail by Monday of the week of the game. The ticket office can be reached by calling 574-631-7356 during normal business hours.

      Address Changes

      • How do I update my address listed on the application?
      • The name and address printed on the mailed information and online application is the current information on file with the Donor Services office. If a change of address is required, please change your address when completing your application online. This is not a permanent change with the University and will only affect the shipping of tickets and results mailing.
      • Please contact Donor Services at 574-631-5150 for all permanent address changes. The Donor Services office maintains permanent records for all alumni, donors, parents and monogram members as it pertains to future lottery applications.
      • How do I change my address after my application has been completed?
      • If you need to change your address after your application has been submitted, contact the ticket office at tickets@nd.edu to adjust your address as it pertains to the shipping of tickets. All address changes must be made in writing to later than July 1st in order to ensure your tickets are sent to the correct address. You will also need to contact Donor Services at 574-631-5150 to make any permanent address changes for University records.

      Shamrock Series Questions

      • Where is this year's Shamrock Series game?
        • This year's Shamrock Series game is against Boston College at Fenway Park in Boston on November 21st.
      • Who is eligible to apply for tickets?
        • Lottery applicants as well as season tickets holders are eligible to apply for tickets.
      • How many tickets can I apply for?
        • The quantity and price per ticket will be indicated on your online application.
      • What are the ticket prices for the Shamrock Series game?
        • Ticket prices for the Shamrock Series game are $225 for Side and $175 for End.
      • If I am unsuccessful at the price level I applied for, will I be eligible for tickets at the next lowest price level?
        • Yes. If you are unsuccessful at the price level applied for, you will automatically be placed in the lottery for the next lowest price level.
