Monogram Board Responds To Alumni Letter
Mar. 15, 2004 - The Notre Dame National Monogram Club Board of Directors believes a response is warranted to the recent letter received by the Board of Trustees from some alumni expressing concerns about the status of the football program.
Monogram Club 2003 Summer Update
July 29, 2003 - The Monogram Club's annual June dinner in 2003 signaled the end of Jim Carroll's two-year term as the Club's president, with Dave Duerson beginning his two-year tenure while Julie Doyle has moved up to first vice-president (her term as president will begin in 2005).

Beth Hunter Named Director of Sports Marketing
August 25, 2003 - In her new position, Hunter will oversee the creation and implementation of marketing plans for several of Notre Dame's 26 intercollegiate sports. She also will work closely with the Notre Dame Monogram Club, an organization of former student-athletes, student managers, student athletic trainers and cheerleaders who have earned a monogram because of their participation in the University's varsity intercollegiate programs.

March 6, 2002 - Bill Scholl, assistant athletic director for marketing the last seven years in the University of Note Dame athletic department, has been named executive director of the Notre Dame National Monogram Club.
Monogram Club 2001 Summer Update
July 25, 2001 - Six honorary monograms were bestowed by the Club in 2001, with the recipients including current Irish fencing coach Yves Auriol, associate athletic director Tony Yelovich, football team physician Dr. Willard Yergler, renowned sculptor Jerry McKenna ('49), and longtime Notre Dame supporters Ralph Roberts and Don Guglielmino.

Jan. 23, 2001 - Notre Dame produced some 1,700 varsity athletics monogram winners during the highly-successful decade of the 1990s and those individuals were honored on January 15-just moments before the Irish women's basketball team's upset of then-#1 Connecticut-during a short, impromptu "unveiling ceremony" near the south end of the Joyce Center concourse.
Notre Dame Sports Heritage Hall Set To Honor 1990s Student-Athletes
Jan. 14, 2001 - Following extensive cross-checking research by the Monogram Club archival staff and a tedious labor process (completed by South Bend-based Van Overberghe Builders) in which each letter was placed by hand, Notre Dame's Sports Heritage Hall is set to receive a significant addition-as some 1,700 names have been added (but yet to be unveiled) to the golden ring of past monogram winners that encircles the Hall (located on the Joyce Center concourse level).

Oct. 13, 2000 - The Notre Dame Sports Heritage Hall ring of monogram-winner names will receive nearly 1,700 additions this fall (early Nov.), as Notre Dame monogram winners from the 1990s (plus several from the '80s) will be added to the existing ring of gold names.
