Two years ago we spent Thanksgiving in Alaska. We ended up eating Alaskan pizza for Thanksgiving dinner after losing to Duke by 30 points.
Last year, we spent Thanksgiving in New York City. After losing to Arizona, we spent a majority of the day walking around New York. We could not get to our hotel because of the Macy's parade.
Hopefully this year, Thanksgiving will be a little bit more positive. After losing the past two Thanksgivings, we are hoping that we can beat Cincinnati and make this year's Thanksgiving a happy one.
The whole team is going to Tippecanoe for Thanksgiving dinner. I have never been there but I hear it is a good place. It should be fun because the whole team will spend it together.
Since we can not spend Thanksgiving with our family, it will be good to spend it all together. We spend so much time together that it will be nice to share the holiday together. The team really is like your second family.
My family will be making the trip out to Indianapolis. My dad, mom and my AAU coach will be there. It should be a lot of fun and I hear that Conseco Fieldhouse is a beautiful place.
