For the past couple of days, it has been all about finals and less about basketball. This is finals week for Notre Dame. It is the end of the fall semester for us.
I had two take home finals, one in Labor Law and one in Global Food Systems.
For Global Food Systems, I had a paper where I wrote about Hawaiian luaus. It ended up being 15 pages long. This summer, I attended two luaus while in Hawaii. The paper was about the luau and everything that goes into one.
I just got out of a final in Social Problems, which was not bad. I did alright on that one.
Yesterday, my final in Social Theory got snowed out. Notre Dame closed school yesterday because of all the snow. I was not impacted by the changes in the finals schedule.
In Social Theory, we had two papers and a final due for that class. My professor took the average of the two papers and gave us that grade on our final. That was really nice.
Yesterday, I played basketball for the first time since Saturday. The coaches and trainers wanted me to take some time off to let my ankle rest and heal up. I got to shoot around and when I was done my ankle felt pretty good.
For the rest of the week, I plan on catching up on my sleep, cleaning my room, do some packing because we have to move out of our dorm rooms on Saturday. After that, I plan on just focusing on and playing basketball for the next month.
